The Huffington Post

The Huffington Post, one of The LaRuelist favorites, has been up and running since 2005. This site, founded by Arianna Huffington and Kenneth Lerer, publishes articles on politics, business news, entertainment, and current events.

Nothing becomes stale or "yesterday's news" on Huffington Post. Most of their materials are in real time with plenty of opportunity for consumer reaction through blogging.

The Huffington Post has impressive photography, accurate information (albeit with a liberal slant), and is full of all the political heavy hitters...Dems, Repubs, and Independents.

Here's a great warning for prospective readers...this is an intellectual group on the site. Debates are kept at a pretty high level and not in the mud as some other sites are.
